As part of our service portfolio we can manage the all important e-mail services for you, either as part of your own domain or for individual subscribers as part of one of WebCAL's.

These e-mail services are SMTP/POP3 accounts which can be accessed by all modern e-mail programs such as Microsoft Outlook™ or Microsoft Outlook Express™. In addition, users on the move can access their e-mail remotely using WebMail through any Internet browser connected to the Internet.

BusinessWeb

Clients who opt for the BusinessWeb hosting package get up to 50 e-mail accounts included. Additional e-mail accounts may be purchased as required in addition to this first 50.

CommunityWeb

The CommunityWeb package, for non-profit community organisations, includes up to 5 e-mail accounts with additional ones available for purchase as required.

MyMail

The MyMail package is designed for the client who wants to operate their own domain name solely for the purposes of using e-mail. This package registers the client's proposed domain name (subject to availability) and then provides up to three e-mail accounts on the domain, e.g. myname@ourfamily.co.uk. Additional e-mail accounts on the domain can be purchased as required.

CommunityMail

CommunityMail is for the user who just needs a single e-mail account for personal use. Their account gives them an e-mail address in one of the WebCAL community domains, e.g. my.name@mailcal.net.

hot connectionAnti-spam and anti-virus filters

Spam mail and and virus attachments are an unfortunate fact of life on the Internet today. We strongly recommend that all users install and regularly update one of the full strength security software packages such as Norton 360™ in order to give the best possible protection to your computer whilst working online. The WebCAL e-mail services can have additional anti-spam and anti-virus filters turned on at the server free of charge; however this should be fully discussed with us before implementation.
